About Man in Casket
I had a job where I was not allowed access to the full internet but was able to get on to certain state sites. I am very interested in old photographs and I was browsing through the Utah Division of State History images and happened across a photo of a dead man in a casket. The caption is really what hit me, simply “man in casket”. It’s not an unfamiliar sentiment, what am I going to do before I die? What will I be remembered for? This website is a tool for my musical expression and contains links to all those different forms. - Justin Barlow

Sky as Skin are a 3 piece musical catastrophe out of Salt Lake City, Utah. The band features Andrew Bush on drums, Jason Mac on guitar & vocals, and Justin Barlow on bass & vocals.
Although you might loosely throw them in the Alt-Metal genre their sound is hard to nail down.
They released their first album "dead songs for a live soul" on bandcamp and CD in 2014. The album consists of 9 songs recorded between 2008 and 2012.
Their second album "10000 beautiful lakes" was recorded 2013/2014 and released on bandcamp in 2016.
The 2018 release of their third album "ok hell" features 5 songs recorded 2015/2016. This album is available for download and streaming on most digital platforms and will also be available on CD.
Although at this point the band is not playing many live shows they are very prolific writers and always working on new material. They have another 4 songs recorded 2017 nearly ready for release and just recorded 2 new songs in July 2018. With dozens of other pieces kicking around I suspect you will hear a lot more from them.
